Hyundai HY6500SEI – 6600W/6.6kW Remote Electric Start Petrol Inverter Generator. It was only used to power a food catering trailer and was very efficient in doing so The engine produces around 6.6 Kilowatts, and it easily powered the lighting inside the trailer, a couple of fridges, a high energy fryer, a rice cooker and a freezer. A full tank would last me around 8-12 hours depending on how many components were active and how long for. In terms of noise it produces around 95 Decibels according to the manufacturers notes. It’s not very loud but it’s relatively quiet compared to past generators I’ve used either, but I’d say it’s quieter than a lot of generator units. This generator comes with 2 keys to start, and the engine has been taken care of every now and then during its dormant time since September. The engine still sounds great and runs smooth and the outer plastic engine covers have a few scratches, other than that it’s still a great working machine and is ready for its next owner!
